Kids will want some theme park action, or the “Worlds” as the Gold Coast locals like to call them. Pick your medley of tickets from Wet and Wild, Sea World, Movie World and White Water World. To save you time we can certainly help you out with ticket purchases at our Tour Desk.
There’s a bus in front of Champelli Palms Apartments that takes you to the theme parks. The only problem with a day at the “Worlds” is that one day is not nearly enough. Multiply your theme parks experience into three days and you might just do it. With a season pass you can come back anytime.
For those needing more relaxed days to recover from the non-stop rush of adrenalin, the national parks in the Gold Coast area really are the perfect way to wind down. A day trip up to Tamborine Mountain is a refreshing choice. There are some low impact rainforest walks, lots of places to stop for a bite, and some excellent craft shops and wineries as well.
Or how about the Lamington National Park, one of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area, and quite a lovely drive to get to them too. This rather encompassing national park has walking tracks along the McPherson Range, which allow visitors to explore the area’s forests, creeks and waterfalls. Dramatic lookouts afford views over the Gold Coast, south-east Queensland and northern New South Wales.
